Trivia

• There was no monster-of-the-day.
• Since Kotono Mitsuishi was ill, Kae Araki played Usagi/Sailor Moon. Araki would later voice Chibiusa.
• The four Shitennou were shown together, but only Kunzite was credited.
• Queen Serenity was previously seen in episode 35. Her hair was silver now.
• The style of Sailor Jupiter’s collar stripes changed several times throughout the entire episode.
• Queen Serenity said that only a descendant of the Moon Kingdom could touch the Moon Stick. When Kunzite tried to seize the wand, the object smacked his hand and then sent the Sailor Senshi to the moon.
• In the scene where everyone was sealed away in bubbles by Queen Serenity, there were two unknown figures dressed in Sailor Senshi-like uniforms.
